State Route 150 Landslide Information

  • A pedestrian walking path has been established along the closure and is open to foot traffic only between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Bike rails have been installed along the stairs to aid bicyclists in transporting bicycles up the stairs. The walking path is made possible through access to private property and trail users are advised it is NOT ADA compliant.
  • State Route 150 remains closed to public vehicle traffic in both directions, from Stonegate Road in the City of Santa Paula to Thomas Aquinas College due to land movement that began on February 19, 2024. Caltrans is actively working toward repairs and restoring single-lane access, however, it is anticipated the closure will remain in effect through the end of July due to the complexity of the repair.
  • An emergency access road has been established for use by marked public safety vehicles for emergency purposes only.
  • Caltrans hosted a virtual public meeting on April 30, 2024, to provide an update on SR-150. A recording of the meeting is available on the Caltrans YouTube page.
