Incident Summary

On Tuesday, May 16th, at approximately 9:30 a.m. a local elementary school bus was involved in a collision near the Northbound Seaward Exit on Highway 101.  Public safety personnel are responding to the accident.  Those needing medical attention are being transported to local hospitals.  An information hotline 805-465-6650 has been established at the Ventura County Emergency Operations Center.  Operators are standing by to provide available information to those seeking loved ones. 

A Family Assistance Center has been established in the gymnasium at  Ventura Community College, located at 4667 Telegraph Road Ventura, CA 93003.  Individuals who have been medically cleared, may be reunited with family members there.
